Attracted by the passion to “change the real estate industry”
At a real estate company that I joined as a new graduate, I spent my days facing customers as a consulting salesperson for investment condominiums. I graduated from university in 2011. It was right after the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy and the Great East Japan Earthquake, and it was a time when investment appetite had cooled. Even in such a situation, I continued to greedily learn not only the knowledge of financial products but also the know-how that can draw out the latent needs of customers so that they can be interested in asset building and investment. There were many difficulties, but I was really happy when my efforts paid off and I was able to rank within the top 10% of the company.
After seven years in sales, I wanted to broaden my career and decided to try a new line of work. The place I chose to do that was GA technologies Co., Ltd.. I was very impressed by the passion of the company, starting with CEO Higuchi-san, and all the other employees, as well as their attitude of seriously trying to eliminate the negative aspects of the real estate industry. Also, there are many people who joined GA technologies Co., Ltd. after purchasing real estate with RENOSY and are now active as employees. When I first learned this, I was shocked to see that there were so many people who had come to love the company so much through its services.
Furthermore, at GA technologies Co., Ltd. I can work in the same environment as people with diverse backgrounds and careers in various industries and occupations. I felt that there was no other place like this, so I decided to join the company.
To win the competition for human resources
After joining the company, I was able to work on mid-career recruitment as a human resources manager, as I had hoped to "challenge myself in positions other than sales." Everything was a new experience for me, and at first it was a constant process of trial and error. Furthermore, GA technologies Co., Ltd. has a wide range of business activities and is growing fast, so at one point we were recruiting for around 80 positions at the same time. By talking to many candidates every day and working with partner companies such as agents, we were gradually able to achieve results. Currently, as a mid-career recruitment manager, I focus on not only managing the team's progress, but also nurturing its members.
In mid-career recruitment, we communicate with candidates with various areas of expertise depending on the position they are assigned to. It is very important to formulate a roadmap and work with the field to ensure that candidates are interested in GA technologies Co., Ltd. from among the many companies and successfully join the company. In particular, the competition to acquire talent with specialized skills, such as engineers, web designers, PdM, and corporate areas such as finance, accounting, public relations, and legal affairs, is intensifying year by year. For this reason, it is essential to understand trends in the job market, investigate the strategies of other companies, and have a high level of business understanding. I believe it is important to have an attitude of continuing to learn so that you can contribute to the organization by being exposed to all kinds of information every day and providing output based on data and facts.
Not afraid of challenges and changes in any environment
When I joined the company in 2018, GA technologies Co., Ltd. had less than 200 employees. It has grown to 1,000 in about five years. Many people find a rapidly growing organization attractive, but on the other hand, it is true that it cannot always provide a happy working environment for everyone. GA technologies Co., Ltd. has a high goal of becoming a "top company in the world." Therefore, we are always required to challenge and change, and I believe that it is necessary to output hypotheses while having little information, regardless of the job type. I think that it is suitable for people who enjoy unpredictable situations and find joy in leading both themselves and the organization to growth.
I want to challenge human resource development and organizational development involving the entire company
I would like to become a person who can demonstrate value outside of recruitment.
GA technologies Co., Ltd. is not only continuing to grow at a rapid pace, but also develops a business that combines technology with multiple fields such as real estate and finance, and members from various professions with different backgrounds gather at the company. Not only their working styles, but also their values and feelings are all different. I think that planning and managing cross-departmental human resource development and organizational growth measures for such people is a big challenge for me. That is why I want to support the team that is creating the world's top companies by demonstrating my value in such work.
