Established the "AI Strategy Office", the first in-house research and development organization in the real estate industry

At GA technologies Co., Ltd., from the new fiscal year, to develop real estate distribution services with technology,
We have newly established "AI Strategy Office" for research and development of AI technology and big data.
Kenichiro Kobayashi, an AI researcher who has participated in our development members since last year, has been appointed as the director.
With data scientist Takehiko Hashimoto as general manager
In the future, we will continue to research and develop AI and big data utilization in the real estate industry.
As the first step, aiming for completion within 2017, further improvement of the accuracy of the property recommendation function,
We plan to improve the in-house system by applying image analysis technology to the floor plan of the property.
We will also contribute to the development of AI human resources in Japan by actively providing industry-academia collaboration such as providing real estate data to universities, joint research, and accepting internship students.

Kenichiro Kobayashi Director, AI Strategy Office
Engaged in natural language processing, artificial intelligence,
 research on robots (AIBO, QRIO), data analysis and research and development of CE equipment in Sony and Toshiba.
Since 2007, he has been a senior researcher at Sony. He has served as a member of the Japan Electronics and Information Industry Association (JEITA). 2015 Coulomb Co., Ltd. Fellow.
He is currently a senior expert at TIS Inc., an advisor to Mitsubishi Pencil Inc. Advisors, and several other venture companies.
Member of the Japan Society for Artificial Intelligence, Information Processing Society, Language Processing Society, and Linguistic Society of Japan.

AI Strategy Office General Manager Takehiko Hashimoto
As a senior data scientist at BrainPad Inc.
Mainly engaged in marketing data analysis and data scientist development.
Participated in the launch of the Data Scientist Association, and was appointed Secretary-General of the Japan Data Scientist Association in 2015.
In charge of lectures at Keio University SFC, the University of Electro-Communications, etc.
