Effective February 3, 2025, Mr. Daishiro Michimori will assume the position of Advisors to our company.

Our company has adopted the corporate philosophy (OUR AMBITION) of "Create a world-leading company" and has been working to advance technology in various industries, including real estate. In fiscal 2020, we entered the M&A brokerage field, and in fiscal 2024, we acquired RW OpCo, LLC in the United States and entered the US real estate market. In addition, by adding Mercury Inc., Ltd. to our group, we have fully entered the data business using real estate data, and are promoting the creation of new value in each business and further global expansion.

Mr. Michimori has 36 years of experience as a national civil servant, primarily serving as the Director-General of the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau from August 2012 to June 2013 and at the Ministry of Finance (formerly the Ministry of Finance). During that time, he worked in the Cabinet Secretariat, drafting policy in the fields of economy and policy and coordinating among various ministries and agencies on important policy issues of the time. After retiring from the Cabinet Secretariat, he has continued to gain experience through his work as a lawyer and other activities.
　

With Mr. Michimori's advice on management, leveraging his diverse experience, the Company will further strengthen governance in its financial business and promote the creation of new value in the real estate market.

In 1979,Michimori joined the Ministry of Finance upon graduating from the University of Tokyo in the same year. After serving as Director of the Corporation Tax Policy Division,Director of the Indirect Tax Policy Division under the Tax Bureau, and  Director of the Financial System Stabilization Division of the Cabinet Secretariat, he was appointed as Counsellor and Councillor (at the office of Assistant Chief Cabinet Secretary) in the Cabinet Secretariat in 2005. This was followed by his appointment as Deputy Director-General of the Financial Bureau in 2008, as Councillor (at the National Strategy Office) in the Cabinet Secretariat in 2010, as Director-General of the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau in 2012, as President of the National Tax College in 2013 and as Director-General for Policy Planning at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in 2014. In 2016, he became registered as an attorney at the Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar Association. In the same year, he assumed the posts of Executive Councillor for Daiwa Institute of Research Ltd., Advisor to TMI Associates, and  Director at Daiwa Next Bank, Ltd. among others. In 2018, he assumed the posts of Senior Executive Councillor for Daiwa Institute of Research Ltd., and Advisor to Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. In 2019, he became a part-time lecturer at Tsuda University, a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Noncurrent Asset Valuation Review Committee ( serving as Chairman since 2022), and a councillor for Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company. Since 2021, he has been a visiting attorney at Shimada Hamba & Osajima. In 2022, he was appointed as an outside Audit & Supervisory Board Member for Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd.
