4月から元理化学研究所 脳科学総合研究センター（通称 理研BSI）のリサーチサイエンティスト、Aaron Bramson（ブラムソン アーロン）がGAのAI戦略室に参画しました。10年以上に渡りアカデミック、ビジネス、行政と様々な領域で培った、複雑系、ネットワーク理論、社会システム理論などの研究活動を活かし、GAでの新サービスや新プロダクトの開発にコミットしていきます。基礎研究・応用研究の両分野での経験豊かなアーロンを迎え、新領域でのチャレンジにも期待が高まります。

◆ Bramson氏のコメント

”前職では、理化学研究所 脳科学総合研究センター（理研BSI）にて、複数の情報源からのデータを組み合わせて分析する手法開発に従事していました。それ以前は、(データサイエンスの観点から)自分の会社を立ち上げ、コンサルタントとして、大学教授、企業、政府のコンサルティング業務を担当していました。そこでは、クライアントの複雑で難解な問題の解決をサポートしたり、彼らに複雑系思考を教えたりしていました。 僕自身は、経済学、数学、哲学、政治学、コンピュータサイエンスと幅広いバックグラウンドと各分野への深い知見があり、とにかく関心領域が広く、常に新しい分野を探求したいと考えています。
　今回、僕がGAに参画した理由はGAのスピーディーな意思決定、柔軟性、壮大で長期的なGAの野心(ビジョン)に惹かれたからです。典型的な日本企業にはないアドバンストなカルチャーだと感じました。同時に、GAの研究開発へコミットする企業姿勢やオフィスの場所(自宅に近く街の雰囲気も気に入っている恵比寿)にも満足しています。
　人々の暮らし・人生にポジティブな影響力を与えるアプリケーション開発に興味を持っているので、GAでは、まず不動産ビジネスの分野で実現し、さらに幅広い領域に広げていければと考えています。”

”Until recently I worked at Riken’s Brain Science Institute developing methods for combining and analyzing data from multiple sources. Before that I worked as a consultant for my own company aiding professors, companies, and governments in solving intractable problems and educating them about complex systems thinking. With a strong background across Economics, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, and Computer Science, I have diverse interests and am always eager to explore new areas.
I joined GA technologies because I was attracted to the company’s quick decision making, flexibility, and wide-ranging long-term ambitions that are more advanced than typical Japanese companies. Of course I was also pleased by the commitment to research and the work location. I am interested in creating applications with a real positive effect on people’s lives, starting with the real estate business and growing from there.”
